Paige Carrie Wright of Cushing, Oklahoma was welcomed into the arms of our Lord and Savior on February 2, 2020. Born in Poteau, Oklahoma, she is survived by her husband, Carson Wright, children Hannah Harder-Chancellor, Timothy Harder, and Carrie Beckwith, parents Dewey and Emma Smith, siblings Keith Smith and Kirk Smith, extended family Kent and Dawn Summerfield, as well as grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Highly educated, Paige obtained degrees from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California and California State University of Fullerton, California. She enjoyed careers as a schoolteacher, college professor, sales executive, occasional artist, and most recently, an employment placement coordinator. Paige was a member of First Baptist Church of Stroud. Over the years, she has been an active leader of children’s, youth, and women’s ministries at various churches. Paige was a lover of art and music, creating beautiful masterpieces. She loved animals, children, and people in general. Paige always went out of her way to make every individual feel special and loved. Her optimism and positivity were the pinnacle of her character. For those who knew her, Paige was always completely boisterous, bubbly, and the life of the party. Few people live out loud or as exuberantly as her—and most couldn't keep up. She loved being the spare mom to all the neighborhood kids, welcoming everyone including lots of international students.
