Otis Cook

Otis Cook, age 91, of Harrah, OK, was born on May 2, 1920, in Nashoba, OK. He was the son of William Obid & Lucy Ann (Briggs) Cook. He left this life on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, in Harrah, OK. Otis was in the Civilian Conservation Corp at age 17. He was a fireman at the FAA for 33 years. He married Rosalie Jorski on May 6, 1995, in Harrah, OK. Otis was a Shriner and a Big Brother. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, dancing and fixing things, but most of all liked to help other people. Otis was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Rosalie Jorski-Cook, Harrah, OK; 6 step-children; 1 sister, Ruby Bales, Oklahoma City, OK; 13 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; his furry companion, Mia and many other relatives and friends. Rosary and wake will be 6:40 PM, Thursday, January 12, 2012, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Friday, January 13, 2012, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
