Natalie Marie Imhoff passed into the loving arms of her Savior on January 2, 2016 after a courageous four year battle with cancer. She was born on March 24, 1940 to John and Mary Borowicz Vierus of Latium Texas, graduating from Burton High School, Burton , Texas . On November 10, 1962 she married George Fred Imhoff at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham, Texas and made their home in Oklahoma. They enjoyed over fifty-three years of marriage life together. Natalie’s passions were entertaining and sewing. She always enjoyed a table full of family and friends and made cooking for forty look like a joy. Natalie designed many bridesmaids’ dresses for her friends, Halloween costumes for her grandchildren and her prized creation, her daughter’s wedding gown. Her favorite times were spent watching her children and grandchildren grow. She was always very involved with all organizations and activities they were participating in. She will be remembered for her legacy of being President of the Stroud FFA Booster club, President of the Alter’s Society, working for the Lincoln County Election Board, as well as taking communion to the sick in the nursing homes. Her meals were from her and Fred’s garden and she always had beautiful flowers growing around her house. She was the Pioneer Woman before anyone knew there was a Pioneer Woman. People remember Natalie for her hospitality, selflessness, and love of God and devotion to The Church. Her home was always open to anyone, including a stranger. And even through the darkest times of her cancer she was always ready to lend a hand to others. Natalie was always a devoted member to her church, forever involved in fundraiser events and socials. The love of God was showed to many through Natalie and many will miss her for the light she brought their lives. Natalie is survived by her husband, Fred.
