Melvin Walter Broudrick

Melvin Walter Broudrick, long-time Meeker, Oklahoma, resident was born on March 23, 1922, in Oilton, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 17, 2008, in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years. Melvin was the son of William Marion and Chessie May Parnell Broudrick. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the European theater. Melvin married Vera G. James on November 11, 1942. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a B-52 Aircraft Mechanic, retiring in 1973. Melvin was a member of the Mammoth Baptist Church near Meeker, Oklahoma. His parents, wife, one sister, Viola and one brother, Donald preceded Melvin in death.
