Melven Charles Tallbull of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Melven was born on December 2, 1958 in Oklahoma City. Melven was the son of Arapaho Chief, Clarence Tallbull and mother, Alwanda McKosato Tallbull Ross. Melven spent his life taking care of others, not only as a Licensed Practical Nurse but also taking care of those he loved, he was a caring Daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was known for his contagious laugh and that he always had a funny story to tell. He was often found playing darts, watching the Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. Most of all, he taught those who he loved how to live. He loved life everyday and no matter what was going on around him, he had a good attitude and a positive spirit. Melven was preceded in death by his father, Chief Clarence Tallbull; grandparents, Charles McKosato and Winona McKosato, John Tallbull and Mabel Horn Melven was surivived by his mother, Alwanda McKosato Tallbull Ross; daughter, McKenzie Tallbull; fiance, Kathe Trivett; brother, Russell and wife, Vivian Tallbull and a host of friends and family.
