Mary V. Kee

Mary Virgie Kee was born on August 22, 1913, in Hoyt, OK, and departed this life on Sunday, June 12, 2011, in Stroud, OK, at the age of 97 years. Mary, the daughter of Arlie Prentiss and Jennie Elizabeth (McCurdy) Gray, was a former resident of Kendrick, OK. She married Joe William Kee on September 3, 1932, in Stonewall, OK. Mary was a homemaker and member of the Welcome Home Freewill Baptist Church, Hector, AR. Her parents, husband, one daughter, Syble; four brothers, and 2 sisters preceded Mary in death. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Ruth Kee of Kendrick, one daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and James R. Hybner of Hector, AR, one sister Inez Sims of Garland, TX, nine grandchildren, twenty eight great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Freewill Baptist Missions or General Baptist Missions of your choice. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at the First Baptist Church, in Chandler, with Brother Rick Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Kendrick Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
