Mary Francis Cagle

Mary Francis Cagle of Holdenville, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age 0f 88 years. Mary Frances Cagle born April 27, 1930, in Atwood, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Elbert and Bessie Taylor. She was raised in Atwood, Oklahoma, where she attended Atwood Schools. Following her education, she went to work at Bartlett's Café, she also worked several years at Lillian Russell in Wewoka. She was married to Claude Lee Parker of Stuart, Oklahoma and had three children Karen Linda and Ricky. Mary could drive big rigs and dump trucks and was a master of cooking southern type food, most noticeably her Peanut Brittle. She retired from the Oklahoma Baptist University in the early 1990s and went on to be a caregiver to her much-loved sister Dorothy Crow and several others. Mary had a life based on service to others. In later Years she Married Pastor Edward Cagle and they began a journey of Worship and enjoyed going from town to town spreading the word. She ran the Women’s Ministry for Living Waters Tabernacle in Meeker, Oklahoma for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Bessie Taylor of Holdenville, Oklahoma; one brother, Kenneth Ray Taylor of Moore Oklahoma; and one sister, Dorothy Crow of Holdenville. She is survived by her three children, Karen Daniel's of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Linda and Mike Madron Wewoka, Oklahoma and Rick and Ann Parker of Del City, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Kelly Wayne and Jenna Madron and Jerry Lee Daniels; four great-grandchildren, Valerie, Gabby, Ben, and Abby; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends; and one special grandchild Julie Campbell. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, April 19, 2019, at the Living Waters Tabernacle in Meeker, Oklahoma, with Rev. Donna Morton officiating. Burial will follow in the Holdenville Cemetery.
