Louise Mary (Drew) Stramski went to be with the Lord on February 17, 2011. She was born March 30, 1930, to John and Rosa Drew of Harrah. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 years, 2 sisters, Mary Malaske & Helen Morin, 3 brothers, Joe, Stanley and Leon Drew. She grew up in Harrah and worked on the family farm. She attended school at St. Teresa Avila Catholic Church and was taught by the Carmelite Nuns. Louise was a woman who was dedicated and devoted to her faith and family. She was a member of St. Teresa Avila Catholic Church from birth. She married Ven Stramski on May 20, 1950 in Harrah, OK. From this union came 6 children, 5 of who survive. Her children were the delight of her life. She worked out of the home, doing laundry for the Nuns at Villa Theresa Convent & Day Care. She was a wonderful seamstress, who also enjoyed flower & vegetable gardening, quilting, crocheting, crafts and ceramics. Louise volunteered her time in helping with the Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Teresa's and making baptism & confirmation garments. Her memory will be cherished by her surviving family. Survivors are her sister, Elizabeth Magott of Midwest City; brother, John Drew and sister-in-law Virginia of Harrah; sons, Jim Stramski and wife Susan of Harrah, Donald Stramski of Harrah; her daughters, Barbara Rolen and husband, Tom of Tuttle, Janette Dye and husband, David of Yukon, Jeri Minnick and husband, Randy of Harrah; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. A special thanks to the staff at Baptist Village and Good Shepherd Hospice for the love, support and care of our mother. The rosary will be 6:45 PM and the wake at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Lucas Raj Pinapati officiating. Interment to follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
