Loren Edward Gregory

Loren Edward Gregory was born on April 11, 1944, in Bartlesville, OK, and departed this life on Tuesday, November 22, 2005, in Prague, OK, at the age of 61. Loren, the son of Wayne Loren and Gladys Medford Gregory, was a resident of Meeker. He graduated from Labette County Community High School in Altamont, KS, and received a Bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering from Kansas University. Loren worked as an engineer for Ashgrove Cement Plant in Kansas and Wolverine in Shawnee, OK. He was also a farmer and rancher. Loren married Ruthanne Bayles on July 28, 1965, in Miami, OK. Loren was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Meeker United Methodist Church. He was also active in the Big Brother Program. His parents and brother, Lavern Gregory, preceded Loren in death. Survivors include wife, Ruthanne of the home; sons and daughters-in-law,Charles and Tracey Gregory of Oklahoma City, David and Sarah Gregory of Bethel; daughter, Sherry Gregory of Oklahoma; Little Brother, Mike Lancaster of Kansas City, MO; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Nancy Gregory of McPherson, KS, Lynn and Ann Gregory of Edna, KS; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
