Lonnie Lee Harrison

Lonnie Lee Harrison, age 80, of Harrah, OK, was born on September 20, 1934, in Jones, OK. He was the son of John Edward & Erma Sabina (Decker) Harrison. He left this life on Sunday, July 12, 2015, in Harrah, OK. Lonnie proudly served in the U. S. Army for 22 years. He married Marjorie Lilly Anne Scheffler in 1967. He worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 18 years. Lonnie was a member of the VFW and enjoyed fishing and chasing his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marjorie, son, John Dewayne Harrison, 2 brothers, Kenneth & Billy Harrison and 3 sisters, Leta Little, Ruth Shore & Ruby Harrison. Survivors include his 2 sons & daughters-in-law, John E. & Laura Harrison, Oklahoma City, OK, William L. & Shelly Harrison, Harrah, OK; 3 sisters, Bernice Harrison, Jones, OK, Jeanie Williams, Oklahoma City, OK, Mert Zawisza, Harrah, OK; 6 grandchildren, Trace Harrison, Dayne Harrison, William Harrison, Jr., Devyn Harrison, Lilyann Harrison, Holly Harrison and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Smith-Parks Funeral Service, 2039 N. Tim Holt Dr., Harrah, OK. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
