Lonnie Dale Keef, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born October 3, 1941, and departed this life on September 21, 2019, in Chandler, OK at the age of 77 years. Lonnie was the son of Elbert and Edith (Jackson) Keef. He attended school in Dibble, OK. Lonnie served in the Army Reserve. He married Geneva Danker on July 20th, 1979. He owned and operated LD’s Wrecker Service for 40 years and LD’s Metal Recycling for 8 years. Lonnie enjoyed running the wreckers, rebuilding old cars, working with his hands, and spending time with his family. His parents, Tory & Edith Keef, one sister Audrey McCabe, and 3 brothers, Ernie Keef, Joe Keef, and Delane Keef preceded Lonnie in death. Survivors include his wife Geneva of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicky and Tony Jarvis of Chandler, Dee Dee and John Carl Peterman of Chandler; 4 grandchildren; Cheyanna Wunderlich and husband Zack of Edmond, Kady Peterman of Edmond, Colton Jarvis of Stillwater and Connor Jarvis of Chandler. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 26, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Dennis Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
