Leroy Howland

Leroy Howland, age 75, of Choctaw, OK, was born on December 28, 1940, in Woodward, OK. He was the son of Floyd Lyle & Lucile (Miller) Howland. He left this life on Thursday, February 25, 2016, in Norman, OK. Leroy graduated from Woodward High School and attended Alva College. He married Connie Wiegert on September 1, 1990, in Oklahoma City, OK. He worked in quality control and retired from Tinker AFB. Leroy was a member of Choctaw Road Baptist Church, Choctaw, OK. He enjoyed tinkering with classic cars, especially Fords and was an avid Nascar fan and OU football ticket holder for 25 years. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Dawn Howland. Survivors include his wife, Connie Howland, Choctaw, OK; 3 sons & daughters-in-law, Rick & Gwen Howland, Edmond, OK, Michael & Felicia Strange, Choctaw, OK, Mark & Tiffani Strange, Guthrie, OK; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Kim & Jerry Hansen, Stillwater, OK, Julia & John Samson, Lexington, KY; brother & sister-in-law, Leon & Marilyn Howland, Woodward, OK; 18 grandchildren, Shelby, Haley, Chase, Kaci, Edward, Allison, Wyatt, Hannah, Coby, Breyer, Laura, Evan, Faith, Heather, Jonathan, Lacie, Bob and Denver and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Choctaw Road Baptist Church, Choctaw, OK. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, Dale, OK.
