Leo Paul Kusek

Leo Paul 'Bud' Kusek, age 76, of Harrah, OK, was born on October 7, 1931 in Harrah, OK. He was the son of Joseph & Selena Jorski Kusek. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in Midwest City, OK. Bud served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Dora Lee Benedix on August 2, 1958 in Harrah, OK. He worked as a mechanic for Transcon Truck Lines for 30 years. He was a lifetime member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Harrah. Bud loved playing the fiddle for the Willow Creek Bank in the 80''s & 90''s and he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, especially watching them play softball. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and one brother. Survivors include his wife, Dora Kusek Harrah, OK; son, Tim Kusek, Harrah, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Holly & Jeff Nicklas, McKinney, TX; sister, Angie Skrapke, Oklahoma City, OK; 4 granddaughters, Annie, Jill, Carly and Paige and many other relatives and friends. Rosary & Wake Service will be held 6:40 P.M. Thursday September 11, 2008 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Harrah, OK. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, September 12, 2008 at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
