Lenna "Skeeter" Harris

Lenna “Skeeter” Christine Harris was born on March 31, 1914, in Lawton, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, August 31, 2009, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 95. Skeeter, the daughter of Wesley Frank and Effie Carolina (Hollums) Pratt, was a longtime resident of Prague. She married Ollie Nathan Harris on August 31, 1931 in Seminole County. He preceded Skeeter in death on January 10, 1984. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Her parents; son, Richard Harris; daughter, Alice Wilson; one sister; two brothers; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild also preceded Skeeter in death. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy Harris of Prague, Freddy and Lovene Harris of Shawnee, Jay and Renae Harris of Prague; daughters and son-in-law, Shirley Guffey of Tuttle, Kay and Donny Walters of Edmond; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Margie Harris. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
