Lee Edward Whitnah, Moore, OK, age 76, was born on January 19, 1930, in Harrah, OK. He was the son of Harry & Hattie Kutin Whitnah. He left this life on June 21, 2006, in Norman, OK. Lee graduated from Harrah High School in 1948. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was an electrician and member of IBEW Local #1141. Lee was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed traveling, music, reading and was a lifelong OU fan, especially football. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carolyn and two sisters, Lillian Hargrove and Betty Honea. Survivors include a son & daughter-in-law, Garrick & Michelle Whitnah, Keller, TX; daughter & son-in-law,Malinda & Craig Outland, Norman, OK; brother & sister-in-law, Bob & Sue Whitnah, Oklahoma City, OK; sister,Helen Mabbitt, Indianapolis, IN; grandson, Gabriel Edward Outland and many other relatives and friends. Donations may be made to Meals on Wheels. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2006, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel in Harrah OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
