OBITUARY: Larry Robert Butler, Sr. Larry Robert Butler, Sr., a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma, was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma, on May 2, 1933, and departed this life in Stroud on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 , at the age of 72 years. Larry was the son of Carl and Laura Belle Ceasar Butler. Larry was a resident of Stroud since 1964, a member of the Native American Church, and retired from Sun Oil Company. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and was a member of the VFW Post 1118 in Cushing, Oklahoma. Larry married Mary Allen in Drumright, Oklahoma on August 28, 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 granddaughter, and 1 great granddaughter. Survivors include Wife Mary of the home Three Sons Charles F. Butler of Stillwater, OK Larry R.
