Larry Michael Casey

Larry Michael Casey, age 69, of Oklahoma City, OK, was born March 9, 1947, in Tulsa, OK. He was the son of Jack & Freida (Finkbiner) Casey. He left this life on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, in Oklahoma City, OK. Mike proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelors degree. Mike married Gayle on May 28, 1994, in Oklahoma City, OK. He worked as an administrator for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Mike loved going to concerts, Willie Nelson and Bob Seger being 2 favorites. He asked for Willie to play at his funeral - a CD will have to do, dude. He was an avid OU fan and loved watching Sooner football. He was devoted to his beloved wife, she could always make him smile. His daughter always appreciated that her dad never told her what to do but let her make her own decisions and choose her own path. He always had her back. He was thrilled with his grandchildren and loved seeing them grow and become such cool little people. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Casey, Oklahoma City, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer & Craig Merrick, Kansas City, KS; brother, Terry Casey, Seattle, WA; 2 grandchildren, Riley Merrick, Brody Merrick and many other relatives and friends. Rest easy Mike, we will keep the music going for you. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, January 27, 2017, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
