Kenneth Carl Brown departed this life on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in Stroud, OK.
Kenneth was born on Monday, January 27, 1947, to Cecil and Alta (Orr) Brown in Prague, OK. Kenneth grew up in Paden, graduating from Paden High School in 1965. On September 3, 1965, he married Nancy Meredith. Then not long after they got married, Kenneth got drafted in the US Army and served in Vietnam as a combat medic. When he returned home from the war, Kenneth worked for Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft painter, until he had to medically retire. Then he worked for many years in the oil and gas industry with Arrow Pump and Supply and also as a well pumper. Then finished his working career at Bumper to Bumper in Stroud to take care of his wife Nancy. Between his wife Nancy and their three daughters, Kenneth was always surrounded by women and learned quickly just to do as he was asked or told. If he had free time, he liked to watch westerns and work with his son-in-laws fixing something. Kenneth was one that would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. He especially made sure his girls and his grandchildren were taken care of. Kenneth’s loving helpful spirit will be missed.
Kenneth is preceded by his wife Nancy Brown; parents Cecil and Alta Brown; granddaughter Casey Ackerman; brother Johnny Brown; father and mother-in-law Lee and Josephine Meredith; and brothers-in-law John Davis and Don Ahboah.
