Julia Ruby Sontag

Ruby Sontag was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on April 2, 1918 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Friday, June 27, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Ruby was the daughter of Doc and Beulah Kirksey Gray. She was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma all of her life. Julia was a homemaker and a collector. Ruby was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Stroud. She was preceded in death by her Parents; 2 Husbands, Arthur Sontag, married 41 years; Billy Weatherford; one son, Billy Jack Weatherford; Two Brothers& One Sister. Survivors include, One Granddaughter,Randa Lea Hohweiler & husband, Gary of North Richland Hills, TX, One Great Grandson, Josh Hohweiler of Dallas, TX, One Great Granddaughter, Jill Hohweiler of North Richland Hills, TX, Special Family Friend, Linda Young of Stroud, OK, Other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Jim Bierd officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
