Juanita Mae Morris was born in Paden, Oklahoma on June 5, 1920 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years. Juanita was the daughter of Hariam Lee and Mary Lou (Webb) Parsons. She was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma in the later years of her life. She was raised in Eastern Lincoln County, lived in Oklahoma City and Del City before moving to Arlington, Oklahoma, where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Rebecca Lodge, after moving to Stroud she moved her church membership to the First United Methodist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma where she is a member at the time of her death. During World War II she worked at Douglas Aircraft Plant and ran the Rock Caf, later becoming a hairdresser until the time of her retirement. Juanita married Alva Carl Morris in Winfield, Kansas on September 14, 1946. He preceded her in death on February 28, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Infant daughter, infant son, 2 brothers, Quinton and Vernon Parsons and one sister, Helen Howell. Survivors include,Two Sons, Don Morris and special friend Judy Sell of Oklahoma City, Thomas Morris of Oklahoma City, Two Brothers, Leroy Parsons of Lacey, WA, Bill Parsons of Highland Village, TX, One Sister, Bernice Riggs of Harlingen, TX, Others relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Joe Molencupp officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
