Jennifer Jane Hall was born on October 22, 1982, in Shawnee Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, September 16, 2018, in Shawnee Oklahoma, at the age of 35. Jennifer is the daughter of Louis and Jane Hall and was a life long resident of Meeker. Jennifer graduated with honors from Meeker High School with the class of 2002. Jennifer loved to play the drums and was a member of the State Championship Bulldog Marching Band. She was an active member of the First Christian Church Youth Group, her 4-H Chapter, the National Honor Society and P.E.O. She was awarded the Masonic Student of the Year. Jennifer was a page for Representative Kent Friskup and a delegate to Girls State. Jennifer loved the Girl Scouts and was a recipient of the Girl Scout Gold Award (it's highest honor). Jennifer also spent 3 months at Girl Scout World Head Quarters in London, England. Jennifer continued her education attending Johnson and Wales University in Miami Beach, Florida where she graduated in 2004 with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. She later completed her Culinary Arts Internship at a ski resort in Park City, Utah. She compiled and published her own cookbook 'Campfire Cuisine'. Jennifer later returned home to work at Applebees and she subsequently worked at OU Medical Center until she became ill. She lived the last years of her life with her mother enjoying each others company through difficult times. Jennifer is preceded in death by her grandparents Mary and Denver Patterson of Shawnee, grandfather L.B. Hall of Shawnee, two uncles, Donald Patterson of Meeker and Larry Hall of Shawnee, and a step brother Jason Siniard of Oklahoma City. Jennifer is survived by her beloved mother and best friend, Jane Hall, of the home; her grandmother Rachel Hall of Oklahoma City, her father, Louis and step mother Cindy Hall of Shawnee; one step sister Julie Kennedy and family of Norfork VA; one cousin, Bobby and his wife Lisa Patterson and their son Denver Patterson of Yukon, OK; as well as numerous 'second' cousins and close friends in and around Meeker. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church in Meeker. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Meeker. There will also be a come and go visitation and viewing at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Meeker from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday September 20th. All are welcome.
