James Emil Heinzig

James Emil Heinzig was born on September 16, 1939, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 68. James, the son of Emil Julius and Lorna Lorene Reagin Heinzig, was a life-long resident of Prague. James graduated from Prague High School with the class of 1957. He married Rae Ellen Rains on August 31, 1958 at Deer Creek Baptist Church in Prague. He worked for Southwestern Bell and AT&T as a cable splicer. He retired in 1999. James was long-time member of Deer Creek Baptist Church where he was a Deacon for 37 years. His mother preceded James in death. Survivors include his wife of almost 50 years, Rae Ellen Heinzig of the home; father, Emil Heinzig of Prague; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Iona Heinzig of Nicasio, California, Jeff and Holly Heinzig of Prague, Rocky and Kristina Flint of Lawton; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Michelle Heinzig of Oklahoma City; 7 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008, at 2:00 PM, at Deer Creek Baptist Church in Prague with Rev. Mike Haines officiating. Interment will follow at Kellerby Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
