Jackie Ludean Vanzant

Jackie Ludean VanZant was born on March 8, 1933, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, November 19, 2007, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 74. Jackie, the daughter of Joe and Hazel Lee Smith Johnson, was a life-long resident of Prague. She married Harold Roy VanZant on June 1, 1951, at the Methodist Church in Prague. Jackie was a homemaker and a member of the Prague United Methodist Church. She loved cooking, camping, and watching Harold garden and do yard work. Jackie?s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Harold VanZant of the home; son, Randy VanZant of Cincinnati, AR; daughters and son-in-law, Robin Marsh of Prague, Kae and Sammy McGinnis of Shawnee; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Charles Higgins and Rev. Dyton Owen officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
