Ila Rae Slawson

Ila Rae Slawson, Meeker, OK, resident was born on November 23, 1951, in Newton, KS, and departed this life on November 18, 2012, in Midwest City, OK, at the age of 60 years. Ila was the daughter of Ray and Ruby (Mason) Hart. She married Claude Slawson. Ila worked for Oklahoma Baptist University as a Administrative Assistant for many years and was a member of Mammoth Baptist Church. Her parents, and husband preceded Ila in death. Survivors include, one sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Mark Laughlin of Sparks, OK, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Mammoth Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Hazelwood officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, OK.
