Helen Marie Brown White Helen Marie Brown White was born on December 30, 1925 in Prague, Oklahoma and departed this life on Wednesday, July 25, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 93. Helen was the daughter of John and Millie Orr. She was a resident of Stroud and a member of the Assembly of God Church. Helen enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, dancing and bowling. She loved to bowl and was in a league at Cushing. She worked for the Turner Turnpike as a tollbooth attendant. Helen was married to Virgil Brown in 1944. He preceded her in death in 1980. Helen and Philip White were married in August of 1982. Phillip preceded her in death on December 24, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include two sons, Larry Brown and wife Janice of Oklahoma City, Steve Brown and wife Sheri of Stroud, one daughter Sharon Cartmill and husband Keith of Cushing. She has five grandchildren Clint and wife Allison Brown, Joel and wife Amy Brown, Shawn and wife Jenny Brown, Casey and wife Yvonne Cartmill and Brian Cartmill, nine great-grandchildren, many other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jason Mooy officiating. Burial will follow at the Prague Cemetery in Prague, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
