Harold Rogers

Harold Rogers was born on November 30, 1922, in Paden, OK, and departed this life on Wednesday, December 1, 2004, in Prague, OK, at the age of 82. Harold was the ninth of eleven children born to George Washington and Bettie Evon Jones Rogers. He was a lifelong resident of Paden. Harold served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He served on the hospital ship, Wisteria, and was decorated for his service in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations. He married Wilma Muncy on May 29, 1948, in Paden. He worked for many years as a driller in the oilfields. His parents and 9 siblings preceded Harold in death. Survivors include his wife, Wilma of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Debbie Rogers of Adair and Jeffry Rogers and Brenda Daniels of Paden; daughter, Jennifer Kim Rogers of Paden; grandchildren, Joshua Rogers and wife Gina of Pryor, and Amie Orcutt and husband Clifton of Choteau; great-grandchildren, Noel Clifton Orcutt, IV of Choteau, Brooklyn Orcutt of Choteau, and Elizabeth Anderson of Pryor; sister, Thelma Dawson of Paden; sisters-in-law and their husbands, Odrey Muncy, Maxine and Floyd Raines, Betty and Barney Robison, and Toots and Mac Fowler.
