Glendola Fenderson

Glendola Pearl Fenderson, long-time Chandler, OK, resident was born on September 18, 1915, in Chandler, and departed this life Saturday, November 26, 2011, at her home, at the age of 96 years. Glendola was the daughter of Frank and Anna (Adams) Forbis. She graduated from Chandler High School in 1934. Glendola married Eldon Hugh Fenderson on February 24, 1935, in Chandler. She and Eldon owned and operated Fendy's Restaurant in Chandler for many years. She was a very active member of the Chandler Southern Baptist Church, Eastern Star, and the Chandler Alumnus Association. Her parents, husband, and two sisters preceded Glendola in death. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Eldon Hugh and Roslyn Fenderson Jr. of Coweta, OK, two daughters, Freida Finch of Chandler, Lavella Ann Seers of Palos Verde, CA, seven grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one sister, Betty Hirschman of Lake St. Louis, MO, one brother and sister-in-law, James and Carolyn Forbis of Germany, one niece and spouse, Jo Ann and Joe Dalton of Camp Wood, TX. Other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler. Burial will follow at the Oak Park Cemetery, with Rev. Keith Henley officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
