George Edward Cameron

George Edward Cameron, age 73, of Newalla, OK, was born on November 24, 1938, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was the son of Georgia Lavonne (Timmons) McLemore and raised with the loving help of his aunts. George went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2012, in Newalla, OK. George proudly served in the U. S. Navy. He was a computer programmer at Tinker AFB retiring after twenty five years. He was a member of the Harrah United Methodist Church. George enjoyed tinkering on computers, golf and shooting guns. George was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sharon and twin brother, Allen. Survivors include his daughter & son-in-law, Toni & T. J. Caldwell, Newalla, OK; son, George Timothy Cameron, Des Moines, IA; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; half-brother, Jack Cameron, CA; 2 sisters, Gloria Davis, Midwest City, OK, Denise Harper, Del City, OK and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 29, 2012, at the Harrah United Methodist Church, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
