Ethel Mae Harrison, a resident of Okemah, Oklahoma, was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, on January 24, 1933, and departed this life in Tulsa, on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the age of 91 years.
Ethel was the daughter of Roy Grammer and Adeline Simek, Ethel worked at Howard Johnson’s on the turnpike and the IGA Grocery Store in Stroud. She retired as a homemaker and was a member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud all her life. Ethel later moved her membership to First Baptist Church of Okemah, OK. Ethel married Donald Edward Harrison in Okemah on March 18, 1950.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents 1 brother and 2 sisters.
She was survived by her brother (Jimmy Simek), sister (Linda Stephens) and her 5 children including her three sons Richard Harrison and wife Mary of Richfield, MN, Timothy Harrison of Highlands, NC, Russell Harrison and wife Rebecca of Tulsa, OK, Two daughters Kathy Clark of Richfield, MN Janie Beck and husband Jimmy of Lampe, MO, and her grandchildren, Mariel, Rachel, Connie, Shauna, Christina, Wesley, Angela, Pamela, Blake, Austen, Kalynn, Isabelle, and Abigale, 16 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
