Dorothy Lee Dixon

Dorothy Lee Dixon, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on December 2, 1938, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 2, 2014, in Stroud, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years. Dorothy was the daughter of Lee and Ora (Taylor) Staley. She worked for many years as the Cafeteria Manager at the Chandler Public Schools. Her parents, and one grandson, Truman Nance Jr.; preceded Dorothy in death. Survivors include, one daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Kenneth Cox of Chandler; one sister, Betty Adams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, with Tom Wright officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
