Donna Marie Peeler

Donna Marie (Coker) Peeler, of Sparks, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in Shawnee, at the age of 58. Donna was born on July 28, 1963 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jerry Thomas and Bonita Marie (Cole) Coker. Donna grew up in Paden, and was a 1981 graduate of Paden High School. Donna married Gerald Edward Peeler Jr. on May 17, 1984. The two were happily married for over 37 years. The two raised three boys, Jerry, Douglas and Steven. Donna was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by many. Donna was very talanted at many things. She never let a moment go by where she was working on one of her many talents. She was an excellent cook and her family always looked forward to her tasty meals, especially when she made summer sausage. She also loved to sew and embroider. She enjoyed woodworking. When she wasn't doing one of those things, you would often find her fishing in her favorite fishing spots or hunting. Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry "Boog" Coker Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Gerald Peeler Jr.; her parents, Jerry Thomas and Bonita Marie Coker; her three sons, Jerry Peeler and his wife Kesry of Wetumka, Douglas Peeler of Sparks and Steven Coker and his companion, Lacey Young of Prague; ten grandchildren, Bryce Peeler, Wyatt Peeler, Keilee Peeler, Gabe Peeler, Erica Peeler, Samantha Peeler, Colton Peeler, Hunter Peeler, Devon Peeler and Baylee Coker. She is also survived by her grandmother, Ruby Cole of Marlow; her brother, Boyd Coker and his wife Wanette of Canadian; one sister, Diane Carlock and her husband, Hank of Branson, Missouri and host of family and friends. Everyone is invited to join in the processional from Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague to Sunnyside Cemetery prior to the service on Tuesday. The processional will depart from the funeral home at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. If you wish to meet at the cemetery, you are welcome to do so as well.
