Donna Mae Buchanan Hansen

Donna Mae Hansen was born on February 13, 1925, in Stroud, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, August 18, 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 86. Donna, the daughter of Arthur and Meredith (Swofford) Vinson, was a resident of Stroud. She married Richard Wayne Buchanan in August of 1941. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1990. She then married Earl Hansen, he also preceded her in death. Donna was a bus driver for Cleveland School and a member of the Chapel of Faith Church in Stroud. Her parents; one son, Gary Wayne; one brother, Kenneth; and one great-grandchild also preceded her in death. Survivors include, Son and daughter-in-law, Michael Ray and Pam Buchanan of Tryon, Daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda Kathleen Funk of Stroud, Carole and Darrell Valliquette of Stroud, Janet and Chuck Martin of Stroud, Mary and Rick Jackson of Stroud, Cindy and Stephen Weir of Longview, TX, 18 Grandchildren, 42 Great-grandchildren, 8 Great-great-grandchildren, Sisters and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Rick Stringer, Peggy Gardner. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 at Chapel of Faith Church, at 2:00 PM in Stroud with Rev. Yvonne Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Stroud Cemetery in Stroud. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
