Dolores Pauline Ownbey

Dolores Pauline Ownbey, age 82, of Newalla, OK, was born October 5, 1932, in Newalla, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Steven Joseph & Ira (Patrick) Bessinger. She left this life on Saturday, January 24, 2015, in Oklahoma City, OK. Dolores married Charles W. Ownbey on September 9, 1949, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was a member of Choctaw Road Baptist Church. Dolores loved to cook and make candy. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and attending their sporting events and other activities. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, 2 sisters and son-in-law, Dwayne Troutt. Survivors include her 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Patsy & Ronnie Kudrna, Newalla, OK, Peggy Troutt, McLoud, OK, Nancy & Patrick Drew, Harrah, OK; loving nephew, Kenny Ownbey & wife, Patti, Oklahoma City, OK; adopted family, Rita & Robert Mahan, Choctaw, OK; brother, Bill Bessinger, & wife, Mary Jane, Crescent, OK; 8 grandchildren, Brandon & Shawna Troutt, April & Scott, Hatchell, Brooke, Brayden, Breanna & Brock Drew, Amy & Pat Tate, Zachary & Chasity Kudrna; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Choctaw Road Baptist Church, Choctaw, OK. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, Dale, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
