David Hubbell Kitchen

David Hubbell Kitchen was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on April 5, 1964 and departed this life in Muskogee, Oklahoma on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the age of 43 years. David was the son of C.E. 'Ed' and Eva Lou Hubbell Kitchen. He grew up in Stroud, Oklahoma and graduated valedictorian of Stroud High School in 1982. He was an Eagle Scout, National Merit Scholar and all district football for the 1981 Stroud Tiger State Championship Football team. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and graduated with a BA in Communication. He worked as a National Account Manager in the security and surveillance industry in several locations including California, Texas and Oklahoma. His final residence was in Norman, Oklahoma, close to his beloved Sooners. He was affiliated with the First United Methodist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma. David was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Survivors include, One brother, Stephen Edward Kitchen of Los Angles, CA, Uncles & Aunts:Tom & Leslie Hubbell of Stroud, OK, Carol & Ken Biehle, Gordon Hubbell, Cousins, Kyle, Jeff, Bryan, Matt and Aaron. Services will be Friday, March 21, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Christian Church in Stroud, Oklahoma with the Rev. Paul Ragle officiating. Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
