Daisy Ruth Stone

Daisy Ruth Stone was born on October 17, 1940, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, March 22, 2015, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 74. Daisy, the daughter of Irvin Thomas and Viona Ada (Page) Chapman, was a resident of Oklahoma City. She graduated from Prague High School and worked as a winder for South West Electric. She was baptized at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Prague. Most recently, she attended South Lindsay Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Daisy’s parents, brother, Floyd Chapman, and daughter, Tammy Wilson, preceded her in death. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Rocky and Wendy Rogers of Cordell; daughter, Bonnie Brockert of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Roxsie and Joshua Stephens of Stroud, Vivian Prosser of Holt, MO, Shayna Rogers of Cordell and Rocky Rogers, II of Cordell; great grandchildren, Cadence and Tristan Stephens; sister-in-law, Judy Chapman; numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Jerry Connell officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
