Clovis Jean Howard

Clovis Jean Howard was born on April 27, 1934, in Binger, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 80. Clovis, the daughter of Thomas and Allie Mae (Whiteside) Sitton, was a resident of Prague. Clovis married Lloyd Thomas Howard on October 3, 1948 in El Reno. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1982. Clovis attended El Shaddai Temple and was always faithful to serve in any way possible. Her most cherished times were spent praising and talking with God and being with her family. Clovis’ parents, husband, son, William Alfred Howard, and brother, Bill “Bud” Sitton, preceded her in death. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Janon Howard of OKC, Darrell and Kathy Howard of OKC and Jack and Dandy Howard of OKC; daughters and son-in-law, Carol Crismon of Tulsa and Stacey and Chad Foster of Seminole; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Sitton of Moore; other family, friends and church family. The Howard family will receive friends on Thursday, January 29, 2015, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015, at 10:00 AM at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
