Cindy Troutman Peterson

Cynthia Ann ?Cindy? Troutman Peterson was born at Homestead Air Force Base, Florida on July 20, 1957 and departed this life in Prague, Oklahoma on August 18, 2006. She was 49 years of age. Cindy was the daughter of Clifton B. Troutman and Jerry L. Ream Troutman. She graduated from Prague High School with the class of 1975. She then earned a teaching certificate after graduating with a BS degree from Oklahoma State University in 1979. Following her graduation from OSU she began her teaching career in the fall of 1979 at Strothers Public Schools. She taught kindergarten and pre-kindergarten continuously at Strothers until her death. She had also earned a Masters Degree in education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She was a member of the Prague United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and both grandfathers. Survivors include two daughters and one son in law, Kristen and Billy Rusk, Meeker, Kacey Harris, Prague; two sons, Scott McLaughlin, Prague and Tanner Peterson, Prague; Her Mother, Jerry L. Troutman, Prague; Two sisters, Cathy Hall, Prague and Susan Riordan, Sequan, Texas; Maternal Grandmother, Flora Ream, Moore, OK; Paternal Grandmother, Berneice Troutman, Durant, OK; Four grandchildren, Lauryn and Taryn Rusk, Meeker and Bailey and Cooper Harris, Prague.
