Charles Richard Fite

Charles Richard Fite, a long-time resident of Paden, Oklahoma, passed away on October 11, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 76. Charles was born on January 3, 1944 in Binger, Oklahoma to Woodrow Wilson (WW) and Violet Lorene (Love) Fite. Charles graduated from Paden High School in 1961. On March 15, 1973 he married Wilma Hill and they made their home in Paden. Charles and Wilma were married for 45 years before she preceded him in death in 2018. Charles retired from Okfuskee County as a road foreman. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wilma Fite; and his sisters, Evelyn Hammond-Willingham, and Ellen White. Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Carl Fite and his wife, Krystal of Paden, Ok., and Billy Fite and his wife, Emilie of Vian, Ok.; a brother, Steven Fite; Grandchildren, Makayla and Charles Toles of Depew, Ok., Summer and Cris Stretch of Prague, Ok., Morgan and Marshall Fite of Paden, Ok., Brylie, Olivia, and Jase Fite of Vian, Ok.; and a great-granddaughter, Raegan Toles of Depew; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
