Carolyn Louise Prewitt was born in Albia, Iowa on May 10, 1944 and departed this life on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the age of 74 years. Carolyn was the daughter of James Delbert and Kathryn (Canny) Stroud. She was a resident of Stroud. Carolyn married Solomon Prewitt in Iowa. Carolyn was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Chandler and worked as a teacher aide and bus driver for Russell High School in Iowa. She loved to hit the garage sales, work in the flower bed, and loved to get on the lawn mower and listen to the music and mown. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include husband Solomon of the home, one son, Chad Benson of Loveland, CO., and two daughter, Michelle Benson of Loveland, CO., Brielia Prewitt of Stroud, one son Timothy Prewitt of Stroud, two brothers, Pat Stroud of Chariton, Iowa, Joe Stroud of Derby, Iowa, two sisters, Barbara Wignall of Newton, Iowa, Kathy Pelligrino of Chariton, Iowa, ten grandchildren, Hollie, James, Cassie May, Tommy, Tyler, Aaron. Paige, David, Jordon and Micah, five great grandchildren, Cash, Carter, Ella, Brantley and Kaleb, other relatives and friends. Celebration of life will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Chandler, Oklahoma on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Kevin Martin officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
