Billy Eldon Way

Billy Eldon Way, Midwest City, resident, formerly of Meeker, Oklahoma, was born on September 28, 1925, in Payson, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 9, 2014, in Midwest City, at the age of 88 years. Billy was the son of Robert and Gladys (Sims) Way. He served in the United States Army Air Corps. Billy married Mary Lou Christy. He worked at Tinker AFB in quality control for many years. His parents, wife, and one brother preceded Billy in death. Survivors include, four sons, Randy Way of Meeker, Billy M. Way of Meeker, Richard Keith Way of Midwest City, Oklahoma, and Harold Robert Way of Meeker; three daughters, Sherry Wilfong of Yukon, Oklahoma, Roberta Christy Coleman of Meeker, and Deborah Tarpenning of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 28 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the First Christian Church, Meeker, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, with Rev. Glenn Walters officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
