Betty Ruth Autry

Betty Ruth Autry was born in Ryan, Oklahoma on January 16, 1931 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Betty was the daughter of William Nathan and Minnie Bell (Slavens) Smith. Betty was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma. She spent most of life in Courtney Flat and Ringling area. Betty was a homemaker and affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma. She married Leon T. Autry in Oklahoma City on September 18, 1970. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include, One Son & Daughter in Law,James & Bridget of Moore, OK, Two Daughters & Son in Laws, Joan & Donald “Red” Gilman of Stroud, OK, Janet & David Johnson of Grove, OK, Seven Grandchildren, Ray Lynn, Jocelyn, Jessica P., Jerri, Jessica W. Chris, and Ari, Ten Great Grandchildren, Other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be at the First Baptist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 with Rev. Burl Mackey officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
