Betty Jo Young

Betty Jo Young was born on February 13, 1926, in Kendrick, OK, and departed this life on Sunday, November 7, 2010, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 84 years. Betty, the daughter of Doris and Rosetta (Simpson) Michel, was a long-time resident of Chandler. She married Jack Young on October 14, 1944, in Brownsville, TX. Betty was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister. Survivors include two daughters, Pam Young of Oklahoma City, OK, and Barbara Arms of Chandler, OK, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 2:00 A.M., at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, OK with Rev. Hugh Willoby officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
