B. Joe Robinson, long-time Davenport, Oklahoma, resident, was born on August 28, 1944, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, and departed this life on June 3, 2008, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 63 years. Joe was the son of D B and Joyce Fulps Robinson. He served in the United States Navy. Joe married Elaine Wells in Ripley, Oklahoma, on September 9, 1962. He worked as a measurement Technician in the oil and gas industry for many years. His parents preceded Joe in death. Survivors include, Wife of 45 years, Elaine of the home, Sons & daughters-in-law, David & Joanna Robinson of Conroe, TX, Gary & Rebecca Robinson of Davenport, OK, Mitch & Lezli Robinson of Stroud, OK, Daughter & son-in-law, Angie & Ronald Lewis of Davenport, OK, Brothers, Don Robinson of Edmond, OK, Keiler Robinson of Stillwater, OK, Sisters, Joy Adams of Sperry, OK, Sandy Dooley of Ponca City, OK, 6 grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 6, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Davenport, Oklahoma, with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
