Anthony Louis Lenz

Anthony Louis Lenz was born on September 23, 1937, in Dodge City, Kansas, and departed this life on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 69. Dr. Lenz, the son of George Roy, Sr. and Juanita Ruth Barby Lenz, was a resident of Prague. He was a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, and the University of Oklahoma Medical School. He married Jessie Cheatwood on June 30, 2001 in Prague. His parents; two sisters, Nancy and Judy; and son, Anthony Louis Lenz, Jr., preceded Dr. Lenz in death. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Lenz of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Stewart and Susan Lenz of Salyersville, Kentucky; daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Fred Toney of Louisiana, Debbie and Kent Thionette of Stigler, Vicki and John Powers of New Orleans, Louisiana, Ariel Lenz of Oklahoma City; step-sons and their wives, David and Jennifer Dunlap of Wewoka, Ben Dunlap and Thea Stewart of Prague, Josh and Terilyn Dunlap of Prague; brother, George R. Lenz, Jr. of Laverne; 19 grandchildren; and 4 Great-grandchildren.
