Anna Lee Riggs was born in Milfay, Oklahoma on August 14, 1929 and departed this life in Shawnee, Oklahoma where she had lived the past three years on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Anna was the daughter of Oddus J. and Georgia (Fisher) Skaggs. Anna was a long time resident of Milfay, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milfay, Oklahoma and worked in the Milfay School Cafeteria from 1963 until she retired in 1992. Anna married Clyde Henry Riggs in Bristow, Oklahoma on October 12, 1949. He preceded her in death March 17, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents,1 brother, James Roland Skiggs and 1 sister, Juna Mae Marker. Survivors include, One Son, Henry Riggs of Shawnee, OK, One Daughter & Son in Law, Darla and Ed Rider of Shawnee, OK, Three Grandchildren, Mandy McKay & Jay Johnson of Tecumseh, OK, Myria & Gerald Hayslip of Oklahoma City, OK, Sunita & Mike Embrey of Oklahoma City, OK, Two Great Grandchildren, Jax Keegan Johnson of Tecumseh, OK, Jillian Michelle Embrey of Oklahoma City, OK, Host of Nieces and nephews, Others relatives and friends. Funeral service will be on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel with Rev. Forrest Whitmore officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
