Alice Marie Mayfield

Alice Marie Mayfield was born on June 13, 1941, in Shafter, California, and departed this life on Sunday, March 22, 2015, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 73. Alice, the daughter of Stallard Virginia and Mabel Bell (Packer) Reed, was a resident of Paden. She married Melvin Mayfield on July 11, 1959, in Riverbank, California. She worked as a seamstress for Wrangler for 23 years. Alice’s parents, infant daughter, Carolyn, brother and two sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include: husband of 55 years, Melvin Mayfield of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Beth Mayfield of Paden and Perry Mayfield of Paden; daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Havens of Fort Worth, TX and Karen and Carl Inman of Depew, OK; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; other family and friends. The Mayfield family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM, at Burnett Mission Church in Paden with Bro. Curtis Watts, Bro. Tim Emmons and Bro. Paul Heard officiating. Interment will follow at Paden Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
