Albert Henry Ambler, Jr.

Albert Henry Ambler, Jr., was born on December 2, 1933, in Birmingham, Alabama, and departed this life on Friday, May 23, 2008, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 74. Albert, the son of Albert Henry, Sr. and Flora Kelly Ambler, was a resident of Prague. He married Patricia Ann Reed on April 19, 1960, in Shawnee. Albert retired from Kerr McGee where he worked as an Oil Blender. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague. His parents, and one sister, Ruth Taylor, preceded Albert in death. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patricia Ambler of the home; sons, Albert Henry Ambler, III, and his wife Debbie of Allen, OK, Charles Lamar Ambler and his wife Shari of Folsom, CA; daughter, Bonnie Stephens and her husband Bill of Allen, OK; grandchildren, Jamie Wilson, Kirby Hogue, Lindsay Linker, Marla Mohan, Chad Ambler, Teri McCarn, Tami Matthews, Nicole Ambler; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Cheyene McCarn, Zoe, Conner, and Kyla Mohan, Sarah and Trent Wilson, Kason Linker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Frances Bush of Lake Placid, FL, Jean Marie and Charles Whiteman of Moore, OK, Margaret Lee Baird of Shawnee, OK, Mae Ellen Peoples of Norman, OK, Hazel and Ron Fisher of Oklahoma City, OK.
