Agnes M Smith

Agnes Marie Butler Smith, age 65, was born on January 27, 1939, in Haskell, Oklahoma and departed this life on Thursday, September 30, 2004, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Agnes was the daughter of John H. & Cora East Butler. She graduated from Haskell High School and married Ken Smith on October 19, 1957. She was a member of the Newalla First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. Agnes loved being outdoors, gardening and her grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband, Ken Smith, Newalla, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Traci & Ken Rogers, Harrah, OK; 3 brothers, Johnnie Butler, Ft. Gibson, OK, Bill Butler, Wainwright, OK, Jim Butler, Muskogee, OK; 3 sisters, Jean Peebles, Bakersfield, CA, Edith Jaynes, Pueblo, CO, Ann Davis, Lawton, OK; 2 grandchildren, Andrew and Kaytlin Rogers and many other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 4, 2004, at Newalla First Baptist Church, Newalla, OK, with Rev. Griff Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, Dale, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
