Evelyn Blankenship

Evelyn Blankenship, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born October 14, 1943, in Taos, New Mexico, and departed this life May 6, 2017, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years. Evelyn was the daughter of James A. and Flora Elizabeth (Pringle) Watts. She married David Blankenship on March 25, 1963, in Chandler, Oklahoma. Evelyn worked in retail sales for many years. Her parents, and two sisters, preceded Evelyn in death. Survivors include her husband, David Blankenship of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Rebecca Blankenship of Spring Branch, Texas; one brother Clarence Watts of El Paso, Texas; one sister, Patricia Taylor of Las Cruces, New Mexico; other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Chandler, with Brother Gary Miller officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
